Healthy nutrition is low in fat, rich in carbohydrates and a mixted food with sufficient fluid intake.
Healthy nutrition is the basis for physical well-being and in the sport the condition for physical efficiency. Even to most of us the meaning to a correct, "healthy" nutrition is conscious, the reality looks often different. In our affluent society an incorrect nourishing behavior unfortunately plays a crucial role in the developing of disease of civilization such as adiposity (obesity), diabetes mellitus and cardiac infarct (heart attack).


The food guide pyramid is a general guide that let's you choose a healthy diet that is right for you. Eat a varity of foods, get the nutrients you need. Most calories should come from the food in the three lower sections of the pyramid.
Each of these groups provide some, but not all of the nutrients you need. Food in one group cannot replace those in another. No one food group is more important than another. For good health, you need them all.
